The PinStamp marking system provides automatic text and code marking on metal plates using a fast, independent X-Y motion system to manipulate a pneumatic marking pin. Text can be marked at various sizes and various orientation within a 70 x 70 mm window. The unit is prepositioned by the cutting machine and lowered to the plate, where the mark is then made automatically according to the program. Programming is automated through ESAB’s Columbus software, and the actual marked text can be edited at the Vision CNC prior to marking if necessary.
